FAQ

  • How long is my BLS/ACLS certificate valid for?

As per Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada policy, Basic Life Support (BLS) is valid for 1 year and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is valid for 2 years.

  • How long does it take to complete the Blended Online Modules?

Typically, it takes learners about 1.5-2 hrs to complete the BLS Blended Online Modules and about 3-6 hrs to complete the ACLS Blended Online Modules. However, these times are very dependent on your own learning pace and test taking abilities. Both course modules will guide you through video and text based content with activities along the way. At the end of the online courses, there will be an exam where you must score 84% or higher to be successful. These modules MUST be completed before attending your in-class course.

  • Do you offer private courses?

Yes! Any of our course offerings can be setup as a private course. This includes ACLS, BLS, Heartsaver CPR AED, and Cardiac Crash. We can either host the course at Douglas College (New Westminster) which is steps away from the skytrain station, or bring all the necessary equipment to your location, anywhere in the Greater Vancouver area. Just know there’s a minimum class size of 4 to run a private course. Contact us for more information on packages and discounted pricing!
